about

This is a collection of analog modular synth compositions showcasing the creative capabilities of XAOC Devices Moskwa roto sequencer eurorack module. Each auditory sketch on this project was recorded live in one take over a 3 week period with no outside sequencing from the computer. I originally intended to record 5-6 sketches for the project... but the Moskwa ended up being so fun and inspiring that I wound up with 13 compositions for this project.
This release comes with a PDF Moskwa sketchbook featuring art by Shiro Fujioka and visual patch diagrams of some of the sketches heard on this album that you can try and or re interpret with your own modular synth.
